Successful Win for Miner after Workplace Injury

A coal miner worker from Yorkshire had sustained lacerations to his leg which required fourteen stitches and left him with an infectious and visible scar.

This happened when the claimant was leaving work and he had taken a blow from some steel roof supports that had been placed in the middle of the floor.

After filing a claim, his employers eventually admitted liability and we had successfully settled the claim before going to court for £1,500 compensation.
